Have heard several rumors that terry would be interested in the job if available...might be an interesting twist? The more I think about this possibility the more I like it? Any thoughts?

A big NO to Brands. No way he would leave Iowa to coach anywhere else as long as Tom is head coach at Iowa, IMO. Any legs to the Heskett rumors??

I'll take whatever it is that will get us back to the top again. They didn't mind taking Gable!

He turned the ISU job down last time and Pollard came back with a better offer and Terry said no. Before Mark Cody applied many Oklahoma supporters wanted Terry and he wasn't interested. Terry enjoyed the Western lifestyle when he lived in Colorado. He would take a job out west but other than that he will be at Iowa

This.

I'd take him. The Brands' get a bad rap around here because of who they coach. That said, he would be far down on my list.

We do still have a coach- if that changes we need to at least inquire to Mark Manning and ROb Koll. They will say no to us but you gotta ask.

My preference is a Heskett HC and Pritzlaff Assoc. HC package.
Joe is a rising coaching star and Don needs the bump to get where he wants to go. Prtiz is the best recuiter that we can hope to land at this point in time IMO.

Others may have a wish list but I really don't think Terry is somebody that can have success here.

I will say- given our facility and budget, we are NOT winning a title anytime soon IMO. The key to winning is your school has to WANT to win. Winning in wrestling is important to us verbally- but, we do NOT do what our competition is doing to sustain anything.

My first thought was no, but ISU Wrestling has hit ROCK BOTTOM.

If Terry can get us competative again, you have to look at him.

Brands isn't coming. Neither is Mark Manning or Rob Koll. Nebraska just got a new facility and Cornell's is one of the best. Plus Manning has Jordan Burroughs to live off of.

Heskett would come, but Pritzlaff isn't going to be his assistant. Pritzlaff isn't leaving his current job for anything less than a quality head coaching job which Iowa State is. Plus those two use to compete against each other and are not exactly best friends.

Other candidates

Damion Hahn- Assistant at Cornell, Minnesota ties

Mark Branch- Wyoming, will be in line for the Oklahoma State job whenever it opens up
