Skol Vikings, let's win this game,
Skol Vikings, honor your name,
Go get that first down,
Then get a touchdown.
Rock 'em . . . Sock 'em
Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!
Go Vikings, run up the score,
You'll hear us yell for more. . .
V-I-K-I-N-G-S
Skol, Vikings, let's go!

Anyone who remembers the LA Raiders knows.. LA is the worst city you could ever have a professional football team. Unless you consider having your team's logo becoming a internationally known gang symbol good publicity.

Vikings are staying home where they belong.

sounds like the state of Minnesota is making some big changes... even as a Miami fan, I can't wait to see the design. I love target field.

Target field is awesome. I can't wait to see the new design either. I've seen some stuff, but I'm not sure how much they'll change it since they have a new location picked out.

Arden Hills would be better. But I'm glad they're staying. Hopefully its not completely outdoors like Target field tho..

I agree. A retractable roof sounds good to me.

I thought the most recent plans were for something similar to Indy's Lucas Oil Stadium. I think indoor is almost a must, because part of what will pay for it is revenue from non-football events. I'd love to see something like a Final Four played up there.

Its great for you Vikings fans in Iowa, it wont cost you a penny to help build the stadium.

yeah, works out nice that way. It would suck to have to pay for it, but the NFL has the state over a barrel. If they want to keep their team, they have to pay. Such is the state of Pro sports, today.

Here's the latest on the stadium. Arden Hills would be best for fans, but I'm just glad they're most likely not moving out of Minnesota.

Meh.

There's a difference between "Deal" and "Agreement." I'll get excited about it when legislators get their heads out of their collective holes, the financing plan is agreed upon, signed, sealed and delivered and ground is broken. I've been down this road too many times.

I don't care where it's built anymore, just friggin build it!

Well obviously I want that stuff too. I understand the difference but that's not gonna stop me from being excited about this.

I hate to be a pessimist about it, but I got all excited about the AH partnership, which has now, pretty much, gone to ****. I guess the 3-13 finish hasn't given me much to be excited about either, but they're still the Vikings and I still bleed purple-mixed-with-cardinal (or vice-versa) and gold. At least they seem to finally be formulating a financing package.

SKOL!

Once it's finished, we can get back on here and celebrate.

Skol Vikings.
