Tech fans seem pretty confident

TT's offense is built to score lots of points, as shown by their first games over the sister's of the poor. There's good reason as to why ISU's defense hasn't given up a TD in the last 8 quarters, so if TT's fanbase wants to think they can score a boatload of points on what's proving to be one of, if not the best defenses in the conference, let 'em. I have no issues with that.

I actually think that ISU walks away with this one. TT hasn't been tested yet and they will vs ISU.

Their offense is averaging a little more in points and total yardage so far this season then they did through 3 games last year. I picked Tech to win 4 games this season and I'm sticking to that. Tubs has struggled down there, and until he proves me wrong, I won't worry much about Tech, especially when ISU plays them in Ames.

TT will be tough- the best team we will have faced by far.

This is a huge game for ISU. Tech is good, but still probably one of the "must win" games for us to have the season we hope for. The offense really needs to step it up for this game.

I guess if all you looked at was box scores... but they don't play the games in the newspaper and there was actually a game with actual video. Not at all the same as last year.... so far. And if we only win 4 games, I'll eat a turd sandwich.

I remember when I was in elementary school too...

Well, since you got picked on by your class mates, made fun of by your teacher, beat up by the handicapped girl, flunked and dropped out after trying 18 times, resulting in you becoming an insufferable internet dooshnozzle, I would expect you to remember elementary school.

Man that is bad. I thought you guys were just making a big deal but they sound like ******* morons. Sound pretty entitled. Only a few on there admitting it should be a close game. Can't wait for them to fall on their face again.

I read through that tread on the TT board and it's apparent that their fan base is completely intoxicated from the mass amount of sugar they received from the three giant cupcakes they ate to start the season. ISU isn't cupcake.

You're conference schedule is not favorable at all. Right now I put Tech, OSU, ISU, TCU and Baylor all in the same pool, and you play none of them in Lubbock. You get 3 of the top 4 teams in the conference at home (OU, WV and Texas), KU at home, and K-State on the road. Not favorable at all, especially in a year where your coach is on the hot seat.

First off, I have been to Lubbock for a game and they are mostly all dooshnozzles.

Second, that game I went to, ISU did get smoked. In fact I remember quite a few drubbings at the hands of Tech.

I myself am worried, but could see a blowout go either way until I know more about both teams. Should tell alot about the rest of the season for both teams, or one...

I know we have our fair share of idiots, but "mostly all" is clearly hyperbole. UT, on the other hand, actually is approximately 97.33% (repeating, of course) dooshnozzle.

Its one of the few games I can remember in recent past, that both fan bases seem to be fairly confident in the game. Which will make it fun next Saturday. I think we have a pretty good shot at winning this thing, the offense is going to have to play better though. Going to need to keep up with their O and put less pressure on our D.

Confidence and arrogance are narrowly separated. Confidence is when you respect your foe while understanding your own team. Arrogance is when you don't understand either. What I read in that thread is mostly arrogance. TTech has played no one of any concern to date. If I were a TTech fan I wouldn't know how good they are yet. Anyone can put up numbers against the UNM's of the world. Including some high school teams. Not respecting ISU is a mistake as TTech and others have found out in the past. A veteran defense awaits you. A highly efficient offense awaits you. Both tested by two respected teams.

Their idiot fans are confident and arrogant. I would hope Tubby has taught his players to respect his former DC and the team that has drilled them 2 straight years. I'm sure they want payback, but I doubt they are going to come to Ames thinking they'll just show up and drill us.
