We need to remember that when Lucca does play he will be playing in his first college game and is coming off of surgery. In other words.......... keep your expectations in check. Talk about pressure......the kid is a legend and has yet to take the court. He probably does net need any more pressure or attention.

I think Lucca will be kind of quiet this year because I don't really see him as having the shooter's mentality yet. He just doesn't seem like he is the kind of guy to throw up a bunch of shots. Of course, I have never seen him play in a real game before, but this just comes from his box scores this summer and how he played a year and a half ago in the CCL. I remember the Mayor was that way too, he was a very solid player who did all the little things for us his first year or two and then he just became the man and eventually accepted the idea that the offense flowed through him.

I predict that McD will be yelling across the floor "Shoot Lucca"

If you talk to him tomorrow, tell him to rest as much as he needs. We dont need him to beat whatever exhibition team we play next. He needs to get and stay healthy.

No more exhibition teams. All the games this weekend count. I wouldn't be surprised if one of these teams sneaks up on us either. Maybe Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
