FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! LET THE BOY BRING THE DOG TAILGATING!

We always bring our dog to this game because we are headed north from central Iowa for a holiday family get together. We try to come a little later and leave early. We leave the car running during the game. It’s only a couple gallons of gas. Has never been a big deal even with some of those hot game days.

We did it once. It was 50 degrees outside, and we had friends who weren’t going into the game that could watch him.

He likes people and events, and he had a blast. But in any warmer (or colder) weather it wouldn’t work.

I wouldn’t do it again unless someone you trust isn’t going into the game and willing to help.

Brought ours tailgating once and unfortunately will never do it again. His time spent scared > time spent happy/getting fed.

Don't take your [dogs] to town son
Leave your [dogs] at home Bill
Don't take your [dogs] to town

I have a dog, and dog's are the greatest creatures on the planet, but why in the world do people bring them to events where there's a lot of people? Leave them at home please. You don't need to show off your dog, most people don't want them there.

Wouldn't you enjoy yourself more if you didn't have to worry about your dog the whole time anyway?

I brought my dog to every game, but I also had a RV. If you bring your dog make sure it is well socialized or it might freak out. I loved tailgating with my Aussie but he loved the crowds . Have a solid plan for during the game.

I brought my dog several times. On cooler days. She was always comfortable sleeping in the car and it was far more humane that expecting her to 'hold it' for 12 hours. Plus she was low key and loved everyone.
