Tailgating on Saturday

Reporting in from C5. Still lots of open space, lots of people weary of rain. Ditches full of water. Hasn't rained since earlier this morning, but the threat is constantly present.

Oops, all the cookies are gone. Sorry!

Buurrrnnn
They weren’t even mine- someone else brought them. I blame crappy WiFi, again this year. When do we join the big leagues for WiFi access? Sigh.

No problem, we had tons of food! Having driven so far and not seen a game in person since 2016, I stuck it out with my dad until they announced it was canceled. I was pretty disappointed I didn't get to see a game, but basically our entire group, besides my dad and I, had left by 8:30. Ollie was a trooper and loved the skydivers. It was also nice to meet @ImJustKCClone and her husband during the tailgate.

Yeah, we stayed in our seats until they came through and kicked us out. We were straight across from the students, and watching them, whining on Facebook to @cyrocksmypants and texting with @WooClone15 kept me relatively entertained. :D

You were my feet on the ground! The broadcast did nothing at all to keep up informed and updated.

Cell phone reception outside the stadium was awful. I had to go into the stadium to get reception and once I saw radar I was ready to make a u-turn but thought the storm might just stay to the south of Ames. I stayed under the upper deck overhang in front of the suites. After the first storm went through, decided to call it a day after 9 hours of tailgating seeing the next wave of storms coming.
