So I'm looking to start buying some tailgating gear...small tent...grill...ect. So what do you guys have that you really like and where did you get it? I'm looking to start out small but want a good experience. I don't have a ton of money to spend on it but any ideas would be great.

TIA

Our stuff is pretty basic and wouldn't cost much. Plain red canopy tent, fold up Coleman propane grill, 6 foot folding table and a handful of chairs with beverage holders. Table and chairs came from Target, I think the tent and grill came from ****'s.

An EZ-UP type tent is a great starting point. You'll use it every tailgate and it will last for year so there is no reason to cheap out. In 15+ years of tailgating we stated with some joke of a tent that took us about an hour to put together, then we moved to an actual EZ-UP, then after 7 years we bought one from Sports Authority(I think it's a quick shade). This one is bigger and seems to be a little tougher then the EZ-UP brand. I haven't been very impressed with the Cyclone themed ones.

Especially with the cold weather coming, would recommend getting side walls with the tent.

Another heat source would be a portable fire bowl/pit (or a Weber charcoal grill). Use charcoal in it or use wood with a screen to keep it enclosed.
