Was just curious since ill be out there today but does anyone else go to the Adventure Bay swim bar at Adventureland? Ive had a pass the last 2 years and this year just because of that. Its great especially for the younger crowd or even if you are with your family and want to have a mixed drink by sitting in the pool.

Went out there with some friends last year and had great day just drinking and floating in the lazy river.

i go every chance i get and try to get a group to go. Better than going to the lake i think

Just went Saturday & had a pretty good time. Bartenders were all pretty fun.

I guess I didn't really think about other people noticing that I didn't leave the water for a 1 & 1/2 - 2 hour stretch...

Oh well. Everybody's doing it, right??

went to a resort this winter and late afternoon the swim up bar started to smell like urine, it was nasty, i would watch and be the only one of like 20-30 people to get out to go pee... i started just sitting on the side and drinking...

well ive never noticed the smell like earlier referenced. I always have a great time.

Are their drinks reasonably priced? It seems like the cost to get in is a little high. Also, I know that Taco John's use to have coupons, is there anywhere that has coupons for a days pass? Thinking about going in August.

Prices actually went up this year for parking and for a day pass. I got a season pass since im in DM. Word to the wise if you plan on going plan on seeing 40 dollar passes with 10 bucks per person without buying ANYTHING in the park.

Let me get this straight. You have to pay a minimum of $50 to jump in a pool of urine?

without a season pass that is correct...you can jump straight into a pool of urine as much as you want for 120 bucks all year though:wideeyed:

Caseys had discount tix earlier this year. A lot of banks will have discount tickets as well. We usually get some at Veridian but I know there are others.

I'm surprised more people aren't dead from this. The ammonia in your urine, combined with the chlorine in the water, sounds like a bad combination.
