Survivor 45

Can they have whatever the contestants sign before playing include a quitting fee? Or would Fijian law view that as a hostage/ransom situation?

I think they should institute a rule that prohibits campaigning for being voted out yourself, and if you do, whether at camp or at tribal, once you are voted off you have to go to your very own exile island for the duration of the show, but with zero chance of winning anything.

I also think they should be disqualified from ever being involved in any cast reunions, any show promos, anything that promotes their involvement on 'Survivor' especially if it makes them money.

Can we get some players that were former Navy Seals like Season one with Rudy instead of these cry baby crap players. They are trying to be so diverse that they actually forget to get people that know how to survive. It's like they got left over Big Brother players to play the game instead of survivor players.

Just watching last night's episode, going into tribal a quitting seemed to be the last thing I would have expected with how show had been going.

It's funny watching the episode knowing someone quit but not knowing who. I had a feeling when I saw who lost but definitely came out of nowhere.

The Challenge keeps distancing itself, the quitters there are ridiculed and the host Lavin doesn’t hide his disgust instead of feeding it and glorifying it as Probst does. He says “see you never” which is what I wish Probst would do.

What's frustrating is Jeff used to be like that. He used to tell quitters with disgust "As your wishes Go Home." Then address the rest of the tribe saying something to the effect of people work to hard to get here for quitters. He has gone soft as has the show. It started going downhill when they decided to stay in Fiji and has only gotten worse with the new seasons from 41 on.

I love how TJ Lavin treats quitters on the challenge. He just throttles them. Jeff used to do that be he is so worried about offending people now. Jeff lost his fastball

Finally finished the last episode, what a bunch of softies they got this season. Let's not forget that Brandon at one point was practically lobbying to vote him out too.

Jeff needs to quit being so soft when someone quits, it will just lead to more drama queen moments and a big emotional performances when people quit. Need to quit trying to fill diversity agendas with casting and get some more cutthroat type players that made the great seasons in the past which were more of the ruffneck, blue collar, and ex military types or the good looking athletic females that knew how to manipulate. Still some good strategic players on this season but the bottom end of the cast has been really hard to watch compared to most seasons and the production has basically glorified them on their way out.

The problem is there are those types that are gay, black women, and other minorities they they are not casting because they are tough people. They would rather stereotype cast for diversity than get a former Marine or Seal that happens to be gay also. It’s frustrating. Quit casting fans who are out of shape also. How can u not prep a little bit and think u can win. Nobody wants to see wimpy people quit.

Need more Ethans, Parvatis, Robs, Sandras, Colbys, Tonys, Sarah's, Amandas, Jerris, Toms, Ruperts, Ciries, and Jameses. I know there's tons of people like that out there that can still check all CBS's boxes.

Yeah, really just need to quit trying to fill quotas to meet what they feel is necessary diversity and just cast more players that are going to play the game hard. Like you said they can still get that diversity while casting someone that can play hard too. Too much focus on social agendas lately it feels like and the social aspect is only 1/3 of the gameplay.

Need some more villain types too like Russell Hantz, Jeff Varner, Johnny Fairplay, and Richard Hatch (who is gay and checks off another diversity checkmarks they are so concerned about.) Fans of the show either loved or hated those guys but they made the game interesting to watch regardless. Tony was a villain and he won season 40 against previous winners. He was likable while at the same time also hated by some but he played hard and smart.

Just have a hard time believing that this is the best of the pool of applicants they are getting as the show is still very popular and probably turn away a lot of people every season. Either that or the people selecting the cast are just doing a terrible job evaluating who would be good for the show.
