I think Carolyn only wins if she plays her idle for somebody else at this point. She is still the person that nobody thinks is a threat and she needs to make a move to prove otherwise.

Disagree, I think if she plays it for herself in a situation where she is the target and the result is a blindside of another target that goes down as the bigger move. Maybe if she wins individual immunity at the last challenge (probably not likely given her performances so far) then she uses it to keep someone else safe in the process. She is doing what you should do with an idol which is let no one know you have it and and keep it for an important moment. She has a good shot to win if she makes the final 3.
Sad to see Frannie go but it was the right vote if you are playing to win right now. Danny would be the next biggest threat then from a strategic angle you have to go have Carson and Yam Yam soon too. I think whoever can navigate to the end wants Heidi and Jamie with you as indint think either have much of a resume to win compared to who else is left.
I wonder what kind of reactions the cast has when they watch these episodes in hindsight now. Like they all still thought that gal still had an idol when wlshe was telling the truth. It was a fake idol too boot which would have been great to see someone duped by it.
Great move by Carolyn using her idol.tonsave Carson then she finally got to make a vote go her way by voting out Danny. Bad thing is it probably just put a big target on her back and Yam Yam and Carson play a much better social game than she does that they can probably get the votes on her next if they want. These next few immunity challenges going to be big for just about everyone left.
People were saying she wasted it but I disagree. In retrospect, yeah she did, but she sniffed out they were coming for Carson and if she hadn't played it and Carson did get voted out, her and Yam Yam would be next.
Like you said, the target is on her now because that was a game winning move, keeping it a secret and playing it when no one saw it coming. Immunity is just about a necessity for her to stay. Don't know if they will put another idol in play since they are good for 2 more tribals yet.
It's 3 vs 3 now which means someone will have to flip for the next vote.
It was officially announced yesterday that Survivor and Amazing Race will be 90 minute episodes next season.
At this point I'm all in for a Tika 3 Final Tribal to see them ride together all the way, then be pitted against each other for the crown. Would've loved to see Danny and Carolyn both up there as they really seem to be oil and water, but alas.
Hard to see how Heidi/Lauren/Jamie don't go for a Tika next time and agree with others that Carolyn's target is biggest in this moment. Maybe she can convince non-Tika that Yam Yam is the biggest threat with his social skills?

Danny did have a pretty decent De Niro impersonation.

Why's that? I've found them to be among the most interesting characters (granted, the edit plays into that) for a while now, but especially after Danny was voted out. I think those 3 give us the best chance for an interesting Final Tribal instead of a landslide vote, but I may be overestimating the jury's respect for Carolyn
My unsolicited thoughts:
- We've made it to the season finale and I still have no idea what on earth Heidi is doing. Just seems like she can't read the room to make the right play.
- I like the Tikas legitimately torn between head and heart, as Yam Yam put it. More interesting to watch people heavily weigh those relationships than "X made big move so I must betray them to get out the threat."
- Along the lines of Carson's puzzle practice, I hope the players bringing all their stuff because they know Jeff's going to send them to another beach is a wakeup call to change some things up.
- I'm all in a Tika Final 3: no tribe allies on the jury, they have to flip on each other when stakes are the highest, and I think it's the best shot at avoiding a landslide vote.

Maybe it's just me, but I find none of the remaining players the least bit likable.
Why? Carolyn is the most entertaining due to acting like Fruit Loops half the time.
I have to agree. She's all sorts of drama. Or maybe she's a fantastic actor... either way, she's entertaining.
It doesn't hurt that she has a nice enhanced surgical front side.

I just don't like seeing domination by 1 group. Reminds me of a smaller version of the cookout from Big Brother.
She's got a nice rack. As fake as they are. She seemed Fruit Looped on the reward challenge last night getting left behind and trying to find her way.
The thing about if Tika makes final 3 not sure how each can argue for best game when most moves they made as a trio. Getting Carolyn out would have been a big resume move.
