Survivor 43

Crazy that's it's finale night and this is only 1 page long. Really rooted for Cody but Jesse made a brilliant move. Had Jesse made final 3 I think he would of run away with it. Not sure I would have called this final 3. Will be interesting to see who wins.
None of the final 3 should win.

Agreed, was a meh season in my opinion but the final episode brought it all together. Each of the final 3 deserved it and all defended their game very well. The final tribal was very good.

Glad to see Gabler win, he was my #2 after Cody. Even better was him donating the money to charity. This was a good season I thought. Lot of likable players and some great game play. Also didn't have some of the woke BS that tainted some of the previous 2 seasons.

Gabler was likable,Cass not so much,Owen just kinda blah.

I really wanted to like Owen but yeah he was blah. I think Cass thought she played a way better game than what she did. She wins some challenges but her social game and setting up moves was not good. Gabler played a good game. Great season

Gabler shouldn’t have won. Sounds like Karla spoiled the jury for her.
Karla herself said that wasn’t the case, she said she was just throwing **** against the wall hoping it would stick when she knew she was going home. What did Cass do to win?

Looking back Gabler did a good job navigating his path. There were multiple times I remember people talking about possibly voting for him and they never did. That is a credit to his social game and like he even mentioned with his alligator comparison there was a time where he knew he had to lurk below the water otherwise he'd become too big of a target. All 3 won their share of immunity challenges but Gabler played the best social game and owned his game and the jury obviously felt that way too. He never really manipulated or lied his way through votes either which in a game full of lies and deceit is impressive.

Well of course she is saying that. She did a hell of a lot more than Gabler who people wanted to take to the end because they thought he did nothing.

Cass was able to navigate the votes better than Karla then win final immunity to get there. Like Jeff mentioned to the jury during questions that they need to keep in mind that the reason many of them are on the jury is because someone felt they were a threat to win the game. There are many people over the history of Survivor that were great players that never won. Karla and Jesse both could have beaten any of the final 3 I think but the key to winning usually comes down to can you outwit your biggest competition when it matters, can you make fire in a fire making challenge, or can you win the final immunity challenge. Some of it is just luck to get to the end really. I get irked when you have some bitter jury members that try to make the final 3 all about them and how they feel they deserve to be there over them. Sorry but we are 43 seasons in now and if you haven't figured by now that once you are out that is it and no one cares if you think you deserve to be there instead. That's another thing about the jury is that every season how they pick the winner depends on their mindset. Some are bitter and won't vote for someone because they were the main person behind many of them being voted out while others care too much about the social game and ignore how someone navigated votes and won immunities at key times to avoid being voted out.

To me this season all 3 were pretty much a wash for the immunity challenge part as all 3 won nearly the same number so it came down to owning their strategy and how they played the social game and Gabler did that better than Cass and Owen did IMO.

I thought she made a mistake not playing her idol. Seen too many players go home with an idol in their pocket (or cleavage, in her case). But she got it right.
Yeah but she thinks the coin is the idol and the beads are powerless, unless that's the way it is, they didn't show her reading the note.

Ya, either she was wrong or the other guy who found the key was wrong but they were definitely opposite. Overall, I think I like the characters more this season so we will see how it goes.
