Summer Bahamas Trip

I can't recall this info being posted, but the MBB team is taking a summer trip to Bahamas in early August.

They will play international teams prepping for FIBA Championships. Sounds like a lot better competition than usual summer tours.

I’ve been looking for an August vacation, this may be it.

I agree that I had not seen this. We are considering the Hawaii trip in 2024, but was this always the 2023 trip? Have been to Atlantis twice and enjoyed both trips (both pre-COVID). It seems to me this came out of nowhere.
 
This has been talked about on podcast but don’t recall if it was a story. This is taking the place of the traditional euro trip they do every 4 years. Probably saves the athletics department a little scratch on flights, hotels and leisure.

I did not know they would be playing FIBA teams or that these games would be open to the public. I wonder if I recognize any names on the Bahamian team.

Looks like Rick Fox no longer plays for Bahamas :jimlad:

Coincidentally Larry Eustachy coach them in 2014
 
Stupid question - but if I were to take vacation at the same time they were playing, is there anyway I could watch/buy tickets?
