Stupid logo hate thread

While I love the Criner logo I'm not opposed to a new logo. The one they've come out with shouldn't be on the helmet of a Big 12 team.
At least we weren't mocked on social media for it. Oh wait, we were. Even by Bugles. And just about everyone else from coast to coast. Not ONE positive comment.

There's plenty of power 5 teams that use gray now but like most things Iowa St is about five years late on those trends. That's why I don't really buy that it has a big influence on recruits, everyone else has already done it, and most have done it better. When Oklahoma St was first breaking out alternate grays in like 2010 it probably did help with recruiting, but not when we jump on board six years later.
I can't really add anything, that logo sucks. Except to wonder why this thread doesn't have a poll. Aren't polls a thing on this board anymore?
I actually prefer the HCHS logo by a little, but I may be biased.
That's dorky, for sure, but at least it suggests "menacing." If ISU adapted that design, the first thing that'd happen: They'd slap it onto a cardinal helmet. To hell with contrast!
I will start by saying I'm not other a big fan of this new logo. I was disappointed when I finally saw it Thursday. After a couple days I don't think it is that bad. It still isnt a good logo but it isn't that bad. I think there are a few problems with it. First and most importantly I think we have two much better ones with the updated McCarney era logo and the 80's era one. The other problem I think was how we played. I think the game is blinding a lot of people. I also think the cardinal logo on the cardinal helmet is such a bad idea.
Another thing I've noticed is our fans seem to perpetuate the comparisons to other things. The yellow uniforms compared to McDonalds. This compared to bugles. Other fan bases ignore it. That's what we need to do.

It looks like the stock Logos that came in EA's NCAA 2005.
Many people didn't like it when they first saw it - the rest hate it because of groupthink. Dead serious. Many people actually liked it when they first saw it but then started hating it because they were told to hate it by everyone else that hated it.

I didn't say that people didn't hate it right away but that doesn't mean people aren't taking the game into affect too. I really didn't like it on Thursday but now I've taken time and reevaluated it.
Funny. The more I think about it, the more pissed off I get.

Funny. The more people get even further butthurt about the logo, the more I tend to like it.
