Student Found Near Train Tracks Update

Maybe similar to the Ray Brower situation

What about the guy she was with? I still think somehow he is involved. They got into a fight and he threw her at the train........ He supposedly went back to get a car. I guess I don't buy his story. Maybe I'm off base, but it does sound like murder to me. Just my opinion.

I agree, the route they took to get back to Freddy court seems odd to me. When I lived in Freddy court walking home from Welch, I would walk by the union, then by Gerdin and walk to the tunnel under the bridge. I understand that some people may not want to walk by themselves through campus, but this girl was walking with another guy. I would think walking through campus wouldn't be a problem. But I could be wrong.

If she was on an overpass, she may have jumped onto the train; hence the cameras didn't see her. She may have "bounced" on the top causing multiple blunt force injuries. Just a theory.

So anytime a student dies in a stupid manner in Ames, it is the result of foul play? Although autopsy reports continue to suggest otherwise?

I'm starting to question the grasp some posters in this thread have on reality.

It's a railroad overpass, the road runs underneath the tracks.

Another person killed in Ames, and at Duff avenue no less, the one place where no one should be killed. There are multiple protections there that don't exist at other crossings. This is getting ridiculous. The fence idea needs to be implemented, but even that wouldn't help at crossings.

It took you this long???

I actually now have compiled a list of CF posters that I deem insane and irrational. Once football and basketball season begins, it will be easy to discredit their opinions due to the fact that they have no grasp on reality.

Considering we all cheer for the Cyclones, can it be said that any of us have a grasp on reality? :nah:

does everyone need to have a conspiracy theory when it comes to students deaths in ames? they are college students and they make dumb mistakes...unfortunately they were dumber than ones that the majority of kids make. she was drunk (8 times over the legal limit for someone her age, this is what ive heard) and she wasnt coherent. i know ive been at least that drunk before and there is a good chance she may have just passed out on the tracks. no one knows what happened (that we know of) and we probably wont ever know exactly what happened, same thing with lacina. hell for all we may know it was probably the smiley face killer that did this one too

Don't you think this many deaths is weird though? And that they immediately say "No foul play is suggested". This many 20-25 year olds don't just drop dead. It's a statistical anomaly for this age group... even taking into consideration the percent of the population that is that age group. A quick reference as proof is the fact that other universities don't even have close to this number of deaths each year.
