Strong rumors...

They could go out there with blind people. I just want that sixth win and don't care how we get it. Just prefer to get it this weekend.

This is a trap.

Nebraska will play Green the first half then Martinez the second half to prevent Burnham from being able to make proper halftime adjustments.

Which is better for ISU.

1. Full Strength Cody Green, a good passer and good runner
2. 80% strength Martinez, great runner and good passer

I gotta say that I would almost rather have an injured martinez. Even if he plays, he is going to be ginger on his leg and less fast. Might help us more than a full strength player....thoughts?

Pretty sad that Nebraksa fans have to start rumors to trick ISU. What is that saying about the state of their program.

Martinez will be out there tomorrow at full strength.

I don't care who is out there. If we win, we will have beaten a top 10 team. Rankings won't change until after the game.

Today's Omaha Paper mentioned that Taylor was a game time decision (which was posted already), but that he has improved daily...also mentioned that Zac Lee had an injured shoulder (I think).... really didn't mention Green starting, but Sean Callahan would have a little inside info....who knows.

Who is there fourth qb?

6 wins is all that matters.

I couldn't care less if their entire team comes down w/food poisoning, and we romp while they roll around JTS puking their guts out. Just win. An injured Taylor Martinez doesn't cheapen this win.

However, a note of caution: how many Huskers were just laughing over what the final score would be when they found out A-Rob was hurt, and Arnaud never took the field? Just sayin'.

Cody Green is more along the lines of average passer, and fairly good runner. The #4 QB is either Cody Spano (not a good runner), LaTravis Washington, or Ron Kellogg Jr. I honestly have no idea who they would turn to if Green gets hurt too. My money would probably be on Kellogg Jr, but that is a complete guess.

Green is a good passer? Really? He completed 53% last year and had 2TD/2INT. This year he has thrown 12 passes and has completed 58%. Kinda hard to say he is a good passer. I would say he is like Phillip Bates

I totally agree with you. If Martinez doesn't play it will be an absolutely huge blow to the Nebraska offense which does help ISU quite a bit. Then again... our offense still has to find a way to put points on the board or it won't matter who they played at QB.

I can't say that I have a good feeling about this game, but this sure makes things interesting. We're going to need our defense to play PRIMO and pray for our offense to start clicking, because we need some points!

I want to see Taylor Martinez on the field tomorrow. If we dont, it means we are getting absolutely blasted and they dont need him.
