*** Stranger Things Mafia Game Thread ***

Here's why I think we should choose one and runaway with it. This is all under the assumption that one of North and michael is demogorgon, and one is an inno. I don't think mafia would be dumb enough to risk them both being mafia.

Option A: We keep it tied, demogorgon's vote doubles, we kill an innocent, waste tomorrow voting out the other one. Maybe we could pick up some things from the mafia voting patterns, but I highly doubt it.
Option B: We runaway on one, he turns out to be the demogorgon. We take out a mafia, and we know the other one is likely innocent, forcing mafia to have to use a kill on them at some point cause we probably won't vote them out.
Option C: We runaway on one, are wrong and take out the innocent, waste tomorrow voting out the other one.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think Option B is the pretty clear answer here. I'd love to hear reasons why if people disagree with me

I was all ready to choose between Michael and North based on this argument. Then hell broke loose.

Now I don't know what to do.

Bone cyfanatic13 because WOW WHAT A BOD and also because he saw the same things Vikes was doing and called them out. I'm confident that at the least they aren't both mafia.

Buddy bsalty because he'd have my back if things got dicey.

Behead Vikes because he's number 001 on my list of sus people.

I’d imagine there are people on both sides. There’s no way all the mafia clumped together to vote Michael.

I assume the votes for North will eventually be rescinded, so I will go with azhuth to keep the numbers even for now, reserving the right to change later today.

This is dumb. Any day that we spend not voting out a mafia is 1) more time mafia has to **** around and 2) a day later in the game that we have to use to vote him out I agree with this. Vikes, love you bud but that's like the 3rd weird against-the-grain post you've had so far this game.

Vikes waffled at being a Devil's advocate both yesterday and today at hunting for the Demogorgon and then voting both Michael and North to the top. Compare to prior game where he had firm opinions about plans at nearly every turn while he was a regular inno.

I didn't waffle at playing devil's advocate. I was simply trying to not ruin the game especially after there were complaints in the last game about how the innocents won.

And I never said anything about wanting to keep Michael and North tied up today.
 
And in before someone claims I sure responded quickly to Psy. I happened to log in just now after lunch and he had just posted.

Explain how you would describe someone's posts like yours from the first 1.5 days when a clear plan to knock down one mafia exists.

Lol thanks for lesson.

I'd describe them as chaotic. It's how several of us used to play mafia and it was fun. However, I wouldn't think that that player is mafia.

On Day 1 I didn't think people would cooperate enough to do what we did. I was wrong. Good work everyone.

Your "causing confusion" reasoning is laughable. I was asking if we think mafia was framing Michael or if they wanted us to think the opposite.

The plan to keep the Demogorgon alive was obviously not going to happen and I was just thinking out loud. Again, trying to have fun. I'm sure it's never smart to keep mafia alive.

I used to play like this to avoid getting hit by the mafia overnight. I was hoping to make it past Day 2 though. Since the mafia won't be hitting me anytime soon, feel free to keep a regular innocent alive. I promise to play a more boring game.
