The fact that there is no comment is the thing to me, He isn't up for an extension. (well atleast Arizona fans hope not) He also sold his house a month ago.

No. Speculation and Rumors???? on this board??? Never! Only in a world where the model citizens that make up the University of Iowa's Mens athletics were to be accused of some wrongdoing! And since that will never happen, there is obviously no speculation here!

I guess it is better then him saying to his AD and all of the Arizona fans that he is deeply entrenched in Tucson and that the U of A is where he wants to be. To top that off if he said that he was not taking the Iowa State job for sure then I would be sweating bullets that he was going to be named our head coach.
No comment is a sigh of relief imo.
It is also MUCH better than him saying that he is leaving to come to ISU. That would be even worse than what chizik did to us.
If he said he was coming here then I would turn in my formal resignation as a Clone fan. Chizdick started the destruction of ISU football and I don't want our new coach to come in and finish the job.
Arizona has a very young team, all recruited by Stoops. If he said he was leaving, the team would probably be in shambles. I honestly though, would as an Arizona fan expect something like "Im a Wildcat", stuff like that. Though again, over half of us would like him gone.
Rumors on a message board, never. Marty talking out his *** to get ISU fan fired up, never.
