STFU Clayborn

You are way too sensitive. Stop acting like little brother.

What do you call it when hok fans are all up in arms when Todd Blythe tweets about Stanzi hanging a WR out to dry? Is that acting like "big" brother?

Clayborn better hope that KO doesn't get drafted in the NFC South. Getting destroyed twice a year probably isn't the best thing for his next contract.

Maybe he should tweet about getting owned by KO for the past two years.

I might be more inclined to listen to him talk if I wasn't so fascinated that he hasn't realized he always has that white stuff in the corners of his mouth.

No kidding. Iowa has whipped us the last two years, but not because of anything Clayborn did. KO owned him both times.

I mean, that's an outrageous exaggeration as far as last year goes (maybe it's valid for 2009), but whatever you say.

Maybe he should be more worried about not leading his team to MASSIVE disappointments this year since he failed miserably at that last year.
He will fail in the NFL. Didn't have the stamina for the college game so I doubt he will have it when he has to play an extra 4+ games.

Crappy thing is while he was in school, ISU didn't do much against the hoks. Of course KO pretty much fed him his lunch.

I think you're right for the 2009 game. But not the 2010 game. Here's how the Tampa Bay scout sized up the 2010 matchup.

Scouting Adrian Clayborn - 2010 Week 2 vs Iowa State - There's That Pass Rush - Bucs Nation

clayborn did very well whenever he stunted and was taking on Alvarez. Not so much with KO. On the flip side, KO did very well against clayborn but Klug beat him up when he stunted. This so called scout stated as much. iowa pretty much laid out the gameplan on how to beat KO. Stunt, stunt, stunt.

clayborn will not do well if he sticks at DE in the NFL

all that guy talked about was clayborn against the run when the pin of the article was his pass rushing ability, i don't think he's that reputable or that good of a scout he arranged his words so he said a whole lot of nothing about clayborn

Not sure what you were reading, but here's what he said regarding Clayborn against KO on passing plays...

"In this game he routinely beat Osemele when he knew a pass was coming. He got plenty of opportunity for that, as Iowa got off to a 3-score lead very early on. Clayborn beat Osemele over and over again in a variety of ways: inside moves, speed around the edge, bull rushing, or throwing him to the side: Clayborn did it all. And all that while routinely being double-teamed. This was about as good a game a defensive end can play without notching a sack. This game was a prime example of why relying on individual sack numbers to evaluate players is not a good idea."

If you think the guys on a Cyclone message board are better at evaluating talent, so be it.

Didn't Blythe tweet something about Stanzi a couple weeks back? I don't see what is wrong with smack talk. That is half the fun of sports.

I think smack talk is what is wrong with sports. Being a good sportsman and acting with class is a rarity these days.
