Steele Jantz, Ernst Brun named JUCO All-Americans

As were Bojay and Louvan Green, who is apparently visiting this weekend. 4 California JUCO All Americans would be a nice addition to the roster and commitment list

The California schools aren't part of the NCJAA, it's more of an All-California team, which is still very good.

Congrats to Jantz and Brun. What a boost it would be to add a couple of big all american juco d-lineman. If they commit is it too late for them to get here for 2nd semester?

Interesting to not see Tautolo's name on there. He wasn't even all-Region while two of his OL teamates were. To me, this is a key evaluation. Tautolo had all of one other offer, Ark. St. So basically, no one wanted him. And there was a Center (Hendrickson) at Iowa Western with 3 BCS offers who is going to sign with Rutgers. Clearly, ISU liked Tautolo better than Hendrickson given they didn't offer the Iowa kid. If they get this one right, that will be an impressive evaluation job and I'll believe that our staff really CAN find diamonds in the rough.

BTW, did anyone see in the Region V team, there's an OL that weighs an even 4 bills? Cannot believe that there's an actual 400 pounder out there playing FB. Shoulda known it was coming eventually.

Are both Fillimoeaeu and Green visiting this week-end. I see Fillimoeaeu was also defensive player of the year.

Wow, apparently you never saw one Aaron Gibson play Left Tackle for the Wisconsin Badgers in the late 90's did you? The dude had to slim down to 390 to begin the seasons and usually weighed well over 4 bills most of the time. He went on to a pretty decent NFL career as well... Not the first and won't be the last....

Sorry, I don't watch a lot of Big 11 ball. Just too plodding.

They did print the Nov 16 1992 Ellworth JC photo later in SI and players ranged from 310-455 pounds. So, I can believe 450 pounds. JC is where some big, slow boys go.

In INSIDE COLLEGE FOOTBALL (Oct. 12), William F. Reed writes, "The biggest offensive line in the nation? It no doubt belongs to Ellsworth Community College of Iowa Falls, Iowa. The starters average 6'5" and 354 pounds." Could you please print a photograph of these young men?

Nice to see even more new kids coming in who have received accolades. While this class might not get much credit nationally, I'm pretty optimistic about it. It seems like we've landed some guys early who were under the radar or who finished the season more highly regarded than originally thought.

Our new WR(Horne) is a CA Juco All American. Sorry if this was posted in another thread. I also noticed that Bojay is listed at 280 lbs on the All American list. Does anyone know his actual weight? He is listed at 250-255 lbs on both Rivals and Scout.
