Yeah, because I should feel awesome that Young got this foul and not Withey....

Anyone who wants these refs to be demoted NOW are silly...they best punishment is to send them to Hilton for Okie State.

Then demote them.

The promotion for that night - instead of little megaphones to throw at KU players - the promotion should be 3 pound rocks.

Send them to K-state for a game, I am sure the mildcat fans would enjoy that. Then can their butts and let them work the big 10 and catholic 7 games. I will be shocked if they work an ISU game for awhile.

Can you imagine? If I was a member of that crew, I'd fear Ames.

I would have loved to see the reaction to this out at the basketball facility.

Hopefully the reaction is "meh," nothing we didn't already know and nothing we can do about it now. So let's focus on going down to OU and kicking them in the teeth again(figuratively - after last night's twitter debacle, I feel the need to be clear).

The only thing this should do is light a fire under the team's collective *** to do everything possible so the officials don't have the chance to steal another game from them.

KU is over, time to focus on OU!

On another note - Chris, when the schedule and results are updated, I think this one should have an asterisk next to it. Or, maybe change the opponent to "KU and the refs", vs ISU..... just a thought.

Bears repeating: If the NCAA tourney committee believes Iowa State SHOULD have won last night they can consider that a win if they want.

That being said, Iowa State still has Okla, WVU on road, Okie State at home. Cyclones can render all this null with 2 big wins.

@JMCato A win at Oklahoma might be more valuable than a home win vs. Kansas for Cyclones anyway _ weird as that sounds.

To paraphrase what the Big 12 just said: Cyclones got hosed. Sorry. The two officials who blew calls might work a lot less in future.

The question now for Iowa State: What does NCAA tournament committee do now that Big 12 basically admits refs screwed them out of KU win?

To Wesley, the tie breaker is only for tourny purposes. Teams that end the season with the same records are considered co-champs. Ref: Ksu and Ou were co-champs in football even though Ksu beat Ou.

We know KU has three easy games and KSU has one tougher game @ OSU. KU will co share with three wins even if Turnover City EJ goes back to scoring 9 a game. KSU finish is still up in the air.

I think people are missing the silver lining about this: The conference acknowledging this makes it much more likely that the Selection Committee would count the game as an ISU win - or at least not an ISU loss. The loss from yesterday may not be reflected in the seed ISU ends up with for March Madness.

Not saying I would do it, but I wouldn't complain too much if the crowd boo'd and throws **** non stop at these clowns next time they are in town. But hopefully they are never allowed back.
