Statistically, Baylor sucks! Total defense is about the same for the two teams (slightly in favor of Baylor), however, total offense is definitely in ISU's favor. ISU is also better at converting on offense and holding on defense.

Where are the special teams stats? If this is a close game, it may make the difference...

We definitely exposed Kansas's defense. I'm not sure they're a top 20 team due to that, but their offense is impressive.

Iowa is a solid football team - of course they also dominated us. Baylor hasn't had a hands down tougher schedule than us though.

Kansas :biglaugh:

it's ok though, you played a marginal team, who has also played no one, close.

Just face it, we have played two team that are still undefeated and are ranked in the top 20. You have only played one team that was even ranked and they are in no way undefeated. Seriouslly, who have you played that is so much better?

BU
WF...great win with Griffin
UConn...tough loss
NWState...stat builder
Kent St...common opponent and win
#20 OU...stat declining game

ISU
NDSU...stat builder for new team
UI...stat killer, horrid game
Kent St...common oppenent and win
Army...stat builder
KSU...horrible game, no crazy stats
KU...stat killer for D and builder for O

All-in-all Balla, stats are fairly in line especially without Griffin. I don't think either team should be calling the kettle black.

I will give Baylor credit for beating a decent Wake Forest, but Wake Forest is not Kansas! Wake Forest is a 4-2 team in the ACC Atlantic, one of the weakest divisions in the BCS. UConn isn't any better than Baylor and you just got creamed by a marginal Oklahoma team (if Kansas is marginal than so is Oklahoma since OU is ranked lower). We both played Kent St and ISU played better at Kent St than you did when you had them at home. I'm not saying that ISU has had a super tough schedule, but the facts are the facts, we have played to unbeaten top 20 teams, Baylor can't say that.

You and I both know Oklahoma would beat Kansas handily. Wake has 2 FG losses. Kansas toughest competition so far has been Iowa State. A KU vs Wake vegas line would be -3 to -6 tops. How is Kansas a powerhouse with 1 TD wins over Southern Miss and Iowa State? Even if they "theoretically" beat Baylor (and they would easily w/out Griffin)....I'd still say Wake could hang with them.

we have only allowed 2 sacks this year??? wow thats awesome!!! on defense, our redzone numbers and 3rd down% are really good! our kr and pr coverage is amazing as well! i think we will force 4 turnovers vs baylor, and 3 of them will be ints. arnaud will tear them up and a-rob will set a new career record in rushing yds. BAYLOR IS GOING DOWN!!!!!

I would prefer A-Rob getting 120 yards on 12 carries and then the backups come in and let him rest up for next week.

Not me, I want to see Troy Davis type numbers ever week. ARob should aim to be only the second back in NCAA history and the second Cyclone to rush for 2000 yards in back to back years. He has to pick it up though.

:jimlad:

Our third down percentage on defense is pretty good, but look at our 4th down percentage. Why would anyone punt it to us?:jimlad:

arnaud will be the difference maker this year. stupido
chizzledick played him with an injury and and bates resigned last year b4 the baylor game.baylor is without their all american griffin at qb. florence and symanski(sp) have done ok . baylor was able to stop the okies a few times in the red zone.
wally burnham has to defense two very good receivers from baylor and if he does that, the cyclones can beat the baylor
cubbies!!!!!!!!!!!!!
