The only thing that I can see that could give Iowa a 1 up is their offense. I don't think we had a single post up entry pass all of last night. Not many chances for our bigs to have any back to the basket moves to score. Iowa relies on this type of offense.

Is that really Foster’s game, or best path to getting drafted? Imo he would be much better served trying to be what Jacobson was last night than whatever Garza was for Iowa. Foster is an athletic, long big men. Get him in space and in the open court, not plodding with a defense collapsing down.

Foster would be unlike most 18 year old forwards if he wants to stay in the paint with his back to the basket and gravitate towards a half-court game. Judging by his play in high school and AAU, he’s not your father’s 7-footer.

I don't really see his development going forward as being specific to post/big. I think from an offensive standpoint, he wants to be a stretch type of guy that rim runs. That's why the "prohm doesn't develop bigs" narrative from the Hawks doesn't make sense. X isn't trying to be a big.
