You can start tailgating whenever the hell you want to, and it's in the lots between JTS and Hilton.

Actually, you can enter the lots the night before and stay overnight if you want to. If you have an RV and stay overnight before game day, they use D4. This was the arrangement two years ago so I am assuming it's the same this year. Two years ago, the first tailgaters to show up on game day were there at about 8 AM or so.

Makes you wonder how often you're the background to other people's pics, and what nots.
I wouldn't miss tailgaiting for the world. There weren't a whole ton of people out last year with the drizzly weather so I hope more show up this weekend!

Exactly, somebody on here has an avatar of the students rushing the field after the 2005 Iowa game and you can see me in the front running onto the field. I asked him if he had a copy of the picture, but he doesn't. It would have been a sweet picture to have though.
Just curious, how do they play the spring game?
Is it the #1 offense vs #1 Defense and
#2 Defense vs #2 Defense
Where do the #3 guys play? Do they just randomly divide the leftover guys up?

They haven't decided yet. Last year I believe it was 1st offense and 2nd defense on one team and 1st defense and 2nd offense on another or something like that.
