Spring Game: Rules, concessions, etc?

Here's a clip from 7 years ago, it goes through the history briskly, but does show a few brief shots prior to the '80s.
PROS
-O line looked a lot better at run blocking and that let brock and Harris loose for a few good runs.
-Hunter looks like he has learned some touch and wasn't just throwing bullets on every pass
- Kohl is going to be amazing when it's his turn
- Higgins is not a huge drop off from Hutchinson
- DB's are solid
CONS
- too many dropped passes
- a couple special teams mistakes
- D line lost contain several times

Just glad our tickets are on the west side of the stadium those winds from the NW can be brutal at times.
I thought Kohl looked absolutely great considering he should be getting ready for his high school prom instead of taking the ISU offense down the field for a touchdown.
I came away liking the Oline performance. Consistently converted on 3rd and short downs.
I was definitely impressed with Higgins.
My favorite play of the game was when one of our Dlinemen was called for off sides and immediately went to the sideline and, without hesitation, started doing a whole bunch of pushups.

Ummm, I may owe you a 40+ yr apology, Never started one but did help them continue their path upward.

As the old song goes "I've only got eyes for you" well they got all summer to break that bad habit.
Drinking age was 18 my freshman year. Sadly, I was 17 when I enrolled. Had to wait a couple weeks to be legal, not that that stopped me! How stupid was that to legalize drinking at 18?!!!!

On a serious note, it felt like Kohl took a lot snaps. Maybe I was just more observant when he was in.

It was in the low thirties and a spring game. Doubt KState would fair any better.
I'm sure that was the plan.... play the 3rd string QB most of the snaps.... save the top 2 guys.
That band is half current band and half incoming high school seniors interested in being in the vand. My son is in there someplace, freshman at ISU in the Fall.
It was 19 my freshman year. The state changed it to 21 during that time but I was lucky enough to be grandfathered in at 19. Class behind me had to wait until 21. Tons of legal house parties and room parties in the dorms my freshman year and then that all changed due to the drinking age changing. If I remember correctly we could have 5 kegs at a house party in the dorm before the legal age changed to 21. After the legal age change the student government would pay for the drunk bus (CyRide) to shuttle people to an off campus party and back. So much different than today.
