Southern Scuffle 2019

Question:

Can you medically default in a match on day 1 and come back and wrestle the 2nd day of the tourney in the consi? Assume you are still alive in the bracket

Straw wins 12-4 in the consi's

Also Colston DiBlasi is alive in the consi's. Still wrestles up around the head. Just pinned his guy with a spladdle

DiBlasi came up on mat2 right after straws match so I watched. spladled his opponent. Could have used some of that funk at 165 this year.

yes...however, if that medical default was for concussion protocol, then he wouldn't have time to pass protocol. If you are medically cleared, you can wrestle the next day

Duggan finishes the session with a fall by the danger rule.

He also tweaked his knee a bit in the 1st period.

I think technically all our guys are still alive. (I am including Parker, since his default came in champ side of bracket)

Degens opponent had length, and uses it well like Degen does. Entire match seemed to be an ankle-to-ankle scramble. Bad loss, yes, but I’m not worried about it.
