We were missing some easy looks early vs Texas last night (granted we did make SOME shots). Worried (for a short time) that an Iowa-like game was going to manifest last night.

We made just enough to keep the flood gates closed tbh. The biggest thing in both games that was missing early is that we weren’t turning either team over right away.

Connor is a very solid bench player as of this year but it took five seasons of heavy minutes/starting and being a grown 24 year old adult playing against 18 year olds to get there.

As we get deeper into the 2022-23 season, the numbers say that the Big 12 only keeps increasing its chances to take home a third consecutive national championship.
Connor has been an asset this year basically because teams haven’t respected his improvement in his three point shot.
I wouldn’t be beating my chest about a 6th year senior who finally has figured things out and has a career scoring average of 4.4 though.
Of course he is.
Any D3 player who got starter minutes for 5 years might be a serviceable bench player in his 6th season as an almost 25 year old man playing against teenagers.
Some D3 players might actually be pretty awesome in year 6 if they got to start for five years in a major conference.
I know CF doesn’t do “post of the year” superlatives, but I’d like to nominate this one anyway.
I just can't wait until 10 teams from the Big Ten make the tourney. Most of them in the 7-12 range. And all of them get beat first round.
