B1G fans cling on to what they've been told for years and can't deal with being told anything else.
The Iowa game was such a fluke. Everything that could’ve gone wrong went wrong. It would be nice to get another shot at them, but we’re not going to the NIT.
No-chin, ball cleaning Sears from WHO lead off sports with Postponement of the Iowa - NW game, then went to Caitlyn Clark getting B1G POW, finally got to the matchup at Hilton. Guy is an Eickholt clone!
I recommend staying off of those sites. I can't imagine a worse place to spend your time than a Hawkeye message board 
I’m terms of depth for sure. I have little doubt TCU and ISU would have been 4 or 5 seed type of teams last year if you dropped them in any other conference to rack up wins.

The Go Iowa Awesome site, formerly Hawkeye Report, has a great thread where some Fran critics are pointing to reality and others claiming Iowa and Iowa State have identical success past 20 years. Hilarious stuff, might as well claim ISU football has had equal success as Iowa even though we’ve only finished ranked maybe a quarter of what they have.

I didn’t realize you already linked it but yeah the people saying they are equal for 20 years are insane. Also 20 years conveniently clips out what happened 22 and 23 years ago but still.
The most relevant time frame is during Fran’s tenure and I think he has like 1/3 of the ncaa wins and 1/4 of the conf tourney titles as ISU while he has been coach…yeah exactly equal. ISU is equal to the programs that have 3x as many ncaa wins I guess.
