Soundoff

Soundoff three years ago was Murph, Andy, Hassel, and BRoss.

Now we sometimes have Murph, Sears, and a segment from Andy.

My how far this show has fallen. It had been on my DVR to watch because it always made me laugh but now I think I'll take it off. I just don't like it anymore.

Sears involvement...possibly done podcasting Soundoff after doing so for the past 12 years since I moved from Iowa.

Still listen to M&A's radio show from time to time on KXNO.

I'm pretty sure if WHO canceled Soundoff, Keith Murphy would be very happy. Is pretty obvious that he hates staying up late on Sunday night just so a few idiots can call in and say something stupid. They have done everything they can to dumb the show down to the point where it's nearly unwatchable for me, but their phone lines still seem to be packed and their ratings high.
 
I missed why Andy left the show? I also agree that Sears makes the show almost unwatchable. He's just not good in that format.

We'd still be really good without him--see the Iowa game.

BDJ might be our best player. Him/Niang/Morris have a nice competition for that.

However, the marginal downgrade from BDJ into more playing time for Naz, Nader, Thomas, and McKay isn't that terrible. This roster would have worked just fine without him.

He's probably worth 1-3 wins over the course of the season compared to those replacements, which is enough to go from #15 to #9 or #20 to #12 depending on the team overall.

Not that he doesn't matter, mind you--the margins are so razor thin at the top every little bit helps. And it is some insurance against fatigue, injury, or knucklehead suspensions. Hope we're done with those.

As I mentioned B4, its pretty obvious those guys hate doing Soundoff and are forced to do it because of its popularity. Im assuming Andy agreed to do the 4PM newscast with the condition that he no longer would have to do Soundoff.
 
I think the Kobe Bryant comparison was about Bryant skipping college and entering the draft, like Hoiberg skipped any coaching experience and became a good coach in college. I think.
