Soldier Salute?

Watch the last few mins here of Ferrari vs our fifth stringer.

I wonder if anything else happen as Ferrari was just a few people behind Metcalf as they went into the tunnel after the match.

I don't have any problems with the stuff that happened in Rathjen vs Anthony's match. Rathjen looks to start that and the shove by Anthony was warranted, and the flex by Rathjen was funny. But it ended there.

AJ started the problems with Glazier with the head push at the end of the OT. Grazier was alright pushing back at AJ and even with the shove AJ did back was all that happened, FINE. But the punch, bird to Glazier, then the double bird, then the splits and double bird is far over the line.

AJ should not be allowed on the team and Brands can't talk about AJ's situation since AJ is not committed or signed with Iowa.

Anthony should not be dismissed from the team. I don't think he did anything wrong at the Soldier Salute.
Will he stay at Iowa may be another question.

AJ did the same push on the back of the head after the match in other matches too. Perhaps it is his signature move.

I think there is a NIL deal signed or partially paid with the Ferrari clan and both sides are going to try and make it work.

Not sure how you back out of an NIL deal when it isn't suppose to be tied to a school. Depends on the wording. If it is prepaid, is there any legal ability to get it back if they don't show up?

It definitely shows that there is friction between the older 2 Ferrari boys and members of the Iowa team

Can you just throw the deuces and let the collective/donor/school fight it out? Because, as we all know, the collectives aren't involved with the coaches....haha

I’m sure the Brands could tell Ferrari’s to take a hike if they wanted to.

However, word is that Mr Money Bags Nicolls is involved. He runs the show.

What does it mean to "formally say" something? Probably that his legal counsel insisted that he say it. If Iowa's legal counsel was involved it would have been much more formal.
It may not mean anything other than an attempt to add gravity to his statement.

I thought the ball grab was his signature move.
I don't think that he had yet developed a signature move at that time. He was just 'trying some stuff' at the time to see what worked. Maybe he has settled on something less invasive for his on-the-mat move.

Was wondering why we didn’t send more guys to Soldier Salute? Overall a more complete group, all weights.
Fuessley, Cabanban, Grice, Frost, Redding, Fousek, Huddleston, Rojas, Tate, Helgelson, and Nando.

Not sure. But a couple reasons could be holiday plans for some guys or can only send so many attached guys before it is considered one of our official dates

Couple of those guys are nursing injuries

I'd say I'm mostly curious about Rojas. We haven't seen much of him yet this season.

This morning KXNO’s Travis Justice evidently had no problem with AJ’s antics this weekend. Liberally paraphrasing: wrestlers are a different breed and this is normal behavior out of top competitors; people won’t complain when he’s scoring points for their team.

Not a bright take.
