Brazil-Chile game into the second quarter. Tight game again - 37-04!

Soares played about the first 7 minutes has 5 points including a Kristin Scott like 3-pointer from the top of the key.

Stephanie hasn't played since I started watching but she has a stat line of 1/1 from 2, 1/1 from 3 for 5 points, 5 rebounds and a steal in 6 minutes of action.

Her line: 8p (1/3 from 2, 2/3 from 3), 9r, 1a, 3to, 1s, 3b, 0f in 16:30. She got offensive rebounds but the quick hands of the smaller Chileans took the ball away from her. She couldn't seem to get it cleanly so she could keep it high and put it right back up.
 
And a fourth nail biter by Brazil. 105-54 over Venezuela. Stephanie had 15 points and 6 rebounds in less that 15 minutes playing time. 3/3 from 2-pt range, 2/3 on 3's and 3 for 3 at the line. Acceptable, I guess.

Two players for Brazil have 21 minutes playing time everyone else played less than a half. Coach splitting up the time well.

Brazil just beat Venezuela by 51. Argentina (who will presumably beat Colombia tonight) beat Venezuela by 35 in group play. So it could be an interesting game tomorrow.

You can tell the announcer is favoring Argentina. He is much more excited about their baskets.

But Brazil is sloppy with some of their play. Soures just hit a 3.
