dont forget that McD started 6-0 last year and remember how that turned out? ill start believing its back if we have a strong showing against conference opponents. besides creighton we really havent played anyone of a decent caliber and that game was too close for comfort. i dont mean to rain on your parade since hoiberg has the guys playing well but that 1st half was god awful today.

Please pass your half empty glass to someone whose glass is half full.

Secondly, the first half wasn't god awful. It was less than what we have seen thus far, but then the 2nd half redeemed them They looked damned good and blew out MSU. You are the kind of fan they should block ticket sales to....(I'll start believing when we have strong showings against conference opponents).

1st half was not God awful.

Mont. St. played a 3-2 zone that took some getting used to by our guys. Once they got in a flow, they held their own. I consider it a learning experience and am happy they got this opportunity. Any athlete appreciates a challenge so to continue to mow over the opposition, having a bit of a test is good for our guys.

I loved the way that they responded in the second half. Like DG said in the post game "coach Fred just told us to keep shooting and we did and this is what happens". Well said. Must be why all of our TO's take about 20 seconds.

Been to the past 2 games and the 2 players I enjoyed watching the most were Jake and Scottie. I don't know how Jake get's to some of the balls he does?? And when he gets up it's hard to believe you are watching a 6'2" player sky like that. I love how Scottie moves around on offense.........always cocked and ready to go. The quickness of his shot reminds me of Freddie back in the day. Man did he have a quick shot.

2 trips to Ames in 4 days, w/ 2 W's..............Doesn't get much better than that.
