Gilbert gets erratic, but he plays his ass off every minute on both ends of the floor. That has been the case from game one. He was the best defensive player on the court against Houston. His combination of quickness and effort are unlike anything what we’ve had here for some time.
There are times when the offense is at its worst that I’m actually fine with him just driving the lane wildly and drawing contact. It’s not even “plan c” but when we’re in a major cold streak I start hoping for it.
If I have to draw an ISU comp maybe Stinson? Not really an exact one.
Would he be able to transfer without sitting out? He's gonna be good good. Another guy who'll need a NIL payday at the end of the season if we want to keep em. Struggling with success here!
maybe, maybe not. Jumping to a third school would be a little tiresome. He's gonna be good good. Another guy who'll need a NIL payday at the end of the season if we want to keep em. Struggling with success here!

Don’t forget Pav, Nojus, Dwayne, and DemarionGilbert and C Jones seem to get better each time out. I love having Lipsey with Gilbert and C Jones out there to close out games. That combination is so hard to stop.
Lipsey, Gilbert, C Jones and Momcilovic will be one of the best backcourts in all of college basketball next year.
