The opening skit of Will Ferrell was great. I missed that one during the elections. They unfortunately picked the worst celebrity Jeopardy of the series.
One of my fav will ferrell skits is one where he is a doctor who misplaces Chris parnell and Molly Shannon's child. And Tim Meadows comes in as Dr. Steven Poop who does the robot, its the most ridiculous, crap filled skit with no point or punchline and is riddled with cast members laughing, but just kills.
Half the reason I can't bring myself to watch that show...the other half is Alec Baldwin.
My fav. skit was when he held up Tim Meadow's severed head. "The weather man is dead!"
That and more cowbell.
They did the celebrity Jepardy without Turd Furgeson. The one they put on was the worst one. Amy Pollar has something on Loren Michaels. She is so unfunny and yet she is in every skit.
I'm not usually the biggest Amy Poehler fan, but she's the only female cast member to have ever been nominated for an Emmy. She's probably gotten some work solely by being married to Will Arnett, but she has somehow impressed a lot of people... Not my cup of tea, but it's working out for her!
If you think Amy Poehler is unfunny you should watch her sister on MadTV. She makes Amy look like Richard Pryor.
Tracy Morgan's best sketch was Uncle Jemima's Pure Mash Liquor. Other than that the Brian Fellows sketches were the only other things I'd watch.
Will Ferrell best of Vol 1 is great, especially the old prospector sketch in the extras. Vol 2 is complete crap and I was incredibly disappointed in it.

Wait - she has a sister? And (more to the point) MadTV is still on?? You're blowing my mind here - what's her sister's name?
What's even weirder is that the other half of Weekend Update, Seth Meyers, also has a sibling on MadTV--or at least had one at one time. I don't really know if he's still on because I too didn't even know that show was still on.

I'm sorry guys, I guess I was mistaken about some ugly blonde girl being Amy Poehler's sister. I could swear I saw that before but I'm not finding any credits on IMDB so I guess I'm wrong. I think Madtv got cancelled just recently (about 15 years too late IMO).
That Josh Meyers was that hack they brought into That 70's Show in the last season. He's pretty terrible.
