Small school basketball players

And Zach Twedt, was first team all WaMaC at Benton this year as a sophmore this past year. He is a 6'4" gaurd who consistently put up 15 or more points, and almost led his team past Solon in overtime.

Zach is good. Benton also isn't a small school though. They have a bunch of small towns making up their district, but the are still 3A. Personally, I thought Levi Montague (sp?) was the better player. The problem with Zach is that he would disappear for lengthy periods of time. Levi's motor was always running. Hopefully Peth up at Wartburg develops Levi into the player he can become.

I dont really know of any kids up in the NC part of the state. Tyler Putz out of Forest City is pretty good, not great, but good. I dont know if he is better than his older brother Brett, as some people thought he would be.

The NW part of the state usually has good small school basketball players. Those kids usually end up at Northwestern (NAIA) or at the DII's up in that area.

Against Ames High 2 weeks ago, Barnes did play, in the Hoover summer league, some kid from Ankeny Christian torched Ames for 40+. I can only imagine this is the kid that is being referred to here. Not big, but just kept backing up to shoot.

:confused:Isn't Forest City still 3A?

If you honestly believe that, you must be smoking something. I'll leave it at that.

If he was 3 inches taller he would be able to make a claim as one of the best. He is not and thus baller must be smoking something
