Skip Holtz?

Our budget is up 50% and we would've had to pay Chizik 1.7 if he met his incentives...I would bet we could get to $2 million..

as for the inlaws...he's a football coach, he would never see them...and it would keep his wife off his back so he could win the Big 12 North. :)
 
ECU to ISU is a lateral move sorry.... That is the current state of our program... Top of C-USA to the bottom of the Big 12 is a lateral move....
 
I'm sick of all this lateral move talk. It's a BCS school, it's not a lateral move. Big 12 North is up for the taking the next few years. Success in a non-BCS program is nowhere near success in a BCS program. C-USA to Big 12 = A step up.

exactly! just because they have a better football team does not mean its a better job. ISU is a BCS conference school and any way you look at it, that is a step up from C-USA
 
Anything IS possible but not at Iowa State.... Please read Jeremy's recent post on the front page.... A little dose of reality is what everyone needs....

Sorry, no inside info just an opinion.... Thought that's what message board was for.... I'm sure everyone on here just states the facts... If that is the case then I apologize...

I find your lack of faith disturbing. I really don't like the "woe is ISU" defeatist attitude...just my opinion. Why not be positive?

This is not a lateral move. Maybe E.Carolina has a better team right now, but the ceiling on what a coach can accompolish at ISU is much higher than at a C-USA school. And why so negative. No one is saying it's a done deal. We're just discussing possible candidates. No one would have expected Johnny Orr to leave Michigan for ISU, and he did.

Stating it once gets your message out there. Stating it over and over and over and over...... then you're just trying to **** people off.
 
All you can do at ECU is win the C-USA every year which means a trip to Memphis for the Liberty Bowl. Whoopee! All you can do at ISU is win the North and go to the Cotton Bowl. Better Bowl = $$$. Tell me what's better.
