He did his message for me over Facebook, but it was a dandy.
I didn't condemn something moderate a former student posted, which marked the student (in his eyes) as a piece of ****, and anyone who wouldn't condemn that is also a piece of ****.

That dude gets pretty extreme.

I got along with him OK. Told him I’d write the foreword for the book he was going to write, “Warm milk in the morning” or something like that. I appreciated his storytelling.

On the flip side, he gave rev and I $1000 to help out our first trip to Jamaica.
It's hard to offset the rest of the intensity, but that was a good day.

Yeah, he was 65. He tailgated with our group and went to cy's house of trivia with us a good number of times times. Good guy.

I can't remember for sure how old his youngest was, I'd guess late middle school\early high school age now?

I just remember him telling a story of his family going to a restaurant and someone mistaking him for being the grandpa. That was probably 10 years ago so you're probably right on age.
