Heard some now have us a 7th seed playing St Johns in Des Moines.

That would save the Cyclone fans a lot of money traveling to see the one and done team.

Ah, no I haven't, though. Think about it. Of course we'd pull Des Moines in a year where the wheels have fallen off. That, my friend, is the very definition of being a Cyclone fan.

I do not want to play St. Johns, no matter where it is. Terrible matchup for us. Quick guards seem to kill us. Shamorie would score 30, at least.

A silver lining is that one win now will be cause for celebration. To many this poor play will result in it being easier to achieve a positive narrative to the tournament finish.

And here some thought Prohm wasn’t tactically astute.
