Shoutout Rocco Becht

Has a chance to be special if we use him right and get the supporting cast.
I wasnt a Rocco is the absolute guy person coming in and I'm still not there yet because one game is one game, but I could buy it being a thing now. Just kinda figured he'd continue to be Kempt level but that was quite good today and showed he could be more

Rocco is our only chance, the rest of the offensive talent is MAC level. Good for Rocco, he was great today.
Noel and Jackson have the pedigree to be good Big 12 players. Higgins has shown some ability but didn't have it today. Brahmer is a future star. Hopefully the WR performances are here to stay. The OL is one of the worst I've ever seen, but are passable in pass pro. Rocco is doing the lord's work. He has skills and is gaining confidence and comfort. About all we could ask for before the season.

His physical tools have been undersold on here. He's not a walk on. He has a great release and plenty of arm strength. He's undersized, but he can spin it. Good pocket awareness and enough speed to get available yards.

He just threw for 350 yards. Maybe sit this one out until Monday.

Not every kid is trying to get cash by any means necessary.
90% of kids are going to where they can make money. Youd be an idiot not to. Especially if you aren't going to the NFL. I'd even go play at Iowa if they were going to pay me. Not all of us were born with silver spoons in our mouths.

Lol we're talking about Rocco Becht, right?

What's the scenario that he leaves? He breaks out, but we go 4-8? He breaks out, we go 6-6 with a young roster, and he goes to a Big 10/SEC team? Assuming he breaks out enough to garner interest, there is value in staying in the system that allowed you to get to that level. I'm not saying it's inconceivable, but it's not the obvious decision that you're making it out to be.

Default cynicism is overrated.
