One of my all time favorite players. Best moment when he flipped off the BYU crowed after they were yelling racist ****.

Also, player development was so good under Hoiberg. I remember when Melvin was a freshman and could barely dribble and shot like 20% from 3. Seeing him develop into conference player POY was awesome.

The really scary bit was through 11 games as a freshman he had more points and rebounds than all 4 of our current freshmen combined. Havent looked recently, but seeing as only walker is playing that likely is still true.
