Seth Greenberg: Monte Morris #1 PG

If you're a five star recruit how do you not come to iowa state next year to play with arguably the best pass first PG in the country in Morris and arguably the best pass first forward in the country in Niang. Im looking at you Mr Diallo!

I'm still hurt about Seth's personal attack directed at me and VeloClone. Still waiting for his apology.

I don't doubt it. The other guys are all good, but Morris is easily the best I've seen this year. Just an absolute wizard.

I don't watch enough college BB to know where MM fits as far as 1 through 10. All I know is that he is very , very good, especially for ISU.

Doug Gottlieb also tweeted that Monte is in his top 5 PGs. Morris is getting lots of national attention.

And Jeff Goodman and Gottlieb are also tweeting a lovefest over Tyler Ulis... Poor Fran probably makes the same face as my signature photo whenever Ulis gets national attention

Maybe he's saying all these things because he knows he screwed up with the McKay comments? I kid. But this is awesome to get national attention.

He didn't screw up, as said in earlier post he was basing opinion on McKay not playing a D1 game yet. We all have read the same reports and what McKay should provide in skills, but would you bet the farm before seeing him play, doubtful. We hope (and it should) his opinion will change and firm up what we all had hoped.

Monte is averaging almost 2 steals and a block. He shut down Ryan Harrow who was on the ESPN top 10 PG list. He is a veritable thief while playing man to man yet "he doesn't play defense yet." Once he finally starts playing D maybe he'll step up his game to avg 5 steals and 4 blocks a game then. Dude is a down defender and is only getting better. Watch a game Jay Will!

We need a talking head tote board for this season. I cant keep track of who we are boycotting from one minute to the next!

Some love from Seth for Monte. Greenberg just said Monte Morris was the #1 point guard in college basketball during the Duke-UConn halftime show.

Jay Williams and Seth Greenberg ranked the top 5 point guards in the nation. Williams had Morris #5 (behind Pangos from Gonzaga, Wright from Utah, VanVleet from Wichita State, and Jones from Duke).

Greenberg put Morris #1. Williams disagreed saying "Monte Morris and Iowa State don't play defense yet!" Seth didn't exactly disagree but said ISU's offense more than made up for it. If I remember from earlier, Seth had previously said ISU's offense was the best in the country. He gave some love to Georges Niang here, too, talking about the offense.

I guess we can stop the Seth Greenberg boycott for his Jameel McKay comments...

Really does feel like an NBA approach to the college game. with that.... check mate.
