I am not sure who is where though. I would assume Schaben is 22.

Nice! Do you think they're all hitters? I know we have Schaben, Bailey, and another?, and then have a DS from Marion.

A Texas fan on VolleyTalk thought it was good we have this class because he thought we aren't as athletic this year? I feel this is one of our more athletic group of women.
 
trying to find out who the third one is.......someone from Minnesota, I believe.


Great to see these numbers...........it'd be nice to keep our top recruits in state too. #2 Foecke (6'3)is going to Nebraska (does everyone remember her from that viral video where she hit the ball into the player's face and it then bounced and knocked over a spectator walking along the bleachers?) #12 Brooke Morgan (6'5) is going to Wisconsin.
 
my bad, Hannah Bailey is from Wisconsin but is playing club in Minnesota. She's #33.

especially seeing as she's a libero. They don't usually put too many of those in this list.

I'm wondering if it's a Ciara type situation where they committed one place and then it quietly kind of fell apart and Christy swooped in. IIRC, Ciara's happened after a coaching change at Minny + her injury. Don't think any major programs did coaching changes this year though. Iowa, but that doesn't count.

very cool! I'm seeing lots of mentions in Google........seems to back up the high ranking. I wonder why it's been so quiet on her? Late decision, maybe? And that's the second setter in that class now?

What convinced you to commit to Iowa State?
There were lot of factors, but it just felt right with the coaching and the campus. I love it. It's just a college town, cornfields and a campus, and that's about it. I'm really close to my family and I love being home, but it's exciting for something new. I had to do what was right for me as a volleyball player.

Hmm, so we'll have 3 setters next year and 4 if you include Harris. That's interesting
