Seneca Wallace's Wingstop

On gamedays, they should wait to open it until after halftime. That's the same time he opened the can on them, wasn't it?

I honestly don't remember, but if so, I like where your head is at.

Boxster was so cranky at halftime that friends decided I needed to take a walk in Theodore Wirth Park at halftime to chill out some. Got back in time to see the furious comeback underway. Best part of that was during the heart of it the announcers had old Hayden Fry in the booth talking about the glory days and they were totally ignoring what was happening on the field. Cyclone TD, TD, TD, Safety in the 3rd quarter while the booth guys were slobbering Hayden's knob. I was LOL moment.

I was tailgating with a bunch of Cyclones and some good Hawkeye friends at our bus outside Kinnick since I didn't have a ticket. My friend's wife (former hawk FB cheerleader) was getting pretty relentless in the first half with my Cyclone buddy and me. She was talking all sorts of **** at halftime. During the second half comeback neither my buddy nor I said a word to her, we would just look at her, smile and nod when the Cyclones made another big play. To this day she points to that game as to why she will never talk smack again.

I think bww will definitely have some competition with this, and I am fine with that since bww is overrated. A lot cheaper for sure. The ones I’ve been to don’t have a lot of seating inside, but they do have TVs inside. It’s closer to more of a fast food.

My daughter wants to go to BWW a lot and I am not real anxious to because I think they are mediocre at best. I'm anxious to take her to Seneca's place and try it out.

Beer and wine in both Ames and eventual Des Moines locations...

Wingstop’s simple menu includes chicken wings, french fries and a few other sides, including rolls, coleslaw, potato salad and veggies, like carrots and celery. Wallace’s stores also will serve beer and wine. Customers can eat at the restaurant, but it will mostly cater to take-out business. Customers can order online or at the counter.

Regarding BWW, I think several years ago they were going to role out a smaller restaurant format to compete with Wingstop. The idea was that BWW would offer a takeout store format similar to what Wingstop does.

However, I am not sure what happened to that idea. I know an activist investor bought some shares in the company, sits on the board, and I think removed the CEO. So its possible that plan was shelved in order to focus on the things the activist investor wants.

Had the Buffalo tenders and Dublin on Saturday. Love the sauce they use if they had wings with that on it they would be my go to!! Money!! Also like Boulder' wings.

Best are the ones that I smoke for 3 hours after they are marinated in Syberg's sauce for a few hours and then add my BBQ rub on them. Last 1/2 hour the smoker gets turned up to around 375 just to get the skin crispy. Sweet and with some heat!!

We are going to Texas Roadhouse late afternoon, will have to order some take out and walk over to Wing Stop and pick them up!! To convenient tomorrow night not to.

If it's mostly takeout, why don't they do delievery? Also, wingstop needs to add honey BBQ to their menu

BWW is very overrated. It seems like every time I go with a group at least 1 person's order is ****** up.
