*** SELECTION SUNDAY Thread ***

Kellogg likes Iowa State to come out. He picked Michigan State but said Iowa State could too.

After the initial brackets come out and that excetiement wanes, I get sad thinking of past Iowa State years in the tourney.
Looks like Virginia will be National Champ. I am OK with that.

I thinking getting a 3-point shooting team in a new gym is a good thing. But it's March, so who knows.

How irrelevant could that be? I don't think anyone on the current roster was involved in those games.

I hope you and jdogg got that I was joking. UNO talking about things not relevant to this year's team. Especially when we played in Colorado we weren't usually playing a neutral game.

If we make it past Purdue I think we are an Elite 8 team. A Sweet 16 matchup likely means Virginia and teams that play as boring and slow as them won't handle a team like us very well. Purdue will be tough but I think we can get past them and now Virginia.

Monmouth and Valpo should be in over Michigan and Tulsa

I'd say Saint Mary's should be ahead of both Monmouth and Valpo. They were regular season conference champs in a much better conference, and their only non-con loss was at a 4 seed.

So, is this right? Michigan State is the only Big 10 team seeded higher than Iowa State? Iowa fans are going to **** a brick.
