Seemingly never ending Iowa MBB thread (still going.....)

Not to go off topic but is Prohm seriously going to talk to LSU about their coaching vacancy?

Seems like a step down to me.

This isn't a jab at ISU, but the LSU job should be a great gig. It is a sleeping giant. They are surrounded by talent, are the only Power 5 school in the state, play in a weak conference and have a huge fan base that wants to be good at basketball again. I think it would be a step up imo.

Alright *****, so you're saying that an ISU team that finished 23-10 in the MAC would have still gotten a 5 seed in the tourney? Just curious.

No, you guys are overthinking this. Why would this ISU team lose 10 games in the MAC?

I'm saying that if Baylor for instance were in the BigTen and lost 7 games with the 39th ranked confernce SOS (which is what they had in the Big12), They would still be a 3 seed. BigTen/Big12 it don't matter, the #39 conference SOS is the #39 SOS.

Maybe we are getting our signals crossed by people talking about The "opportunity" to play a tough schedule? I am NOT saying there are as many highly ranked conference schedules in the BigTen as there is in the Big12. The Big12 was a tougher conference, no doubt or debate. Odds say ISU would have probably had an easier Confernce SOS if in the BigTen (only Indiana had a tougher Conference SOS than ISU). That isn't at all what I am talking about, maybe some think this is what I am saying?

Yes, that is how it is coming across.

Haven't read the rest of the thread, but seriously how do these Hawk fans reach this level of delusion? How do they convince themselves of this stuff? If they weren't Hawk fans I might worry about them.

That tweet is just the best.

It's right in line with the "Indiana would have beaten anyone in the country that night" sentiment.

The correct saying would be closer to, "Indiana would have beaten any bad team in the country that night".

Any halfway decent team is going to handle Indiana easily.

I don't think you have anything to worry about, I doubt LSU wants Fran.
