So I take it you're spending more time on Gopher, Badger, and Sparty message boards than this one?
I love how Iowa fans discount ISU as a rival, or consider them a lesser one, then spend their time here.

Indiana beat KU and UNC both just a few days apart. They were playing well. Do you think they're really better than KU and UNC right now?
Iowa (at home) beat an overconfident ISU team that in all honestly was playing very mediocre ball for the first portion of the year. Do you really think Iowa is better than ISU right now?
No, because the only conferences that separate themselves ever are SEC and ACC. Big12 and Big10 are always reliant on their top 3 teams. But this is a bball thread, talking about how conference fans perceive their conference.
I am not a Big12 homer, and I am willing to admit when Iowa is good or playing well or when the Big12 is worse at something than the B1G.
I don't spend time on my rival teams sites or waste time with them. My brother is a ISU fan, some of my closest friends are ISU fans, I dont root against ISU like I do our rivals. It is interesting to me the hatred of Iowa over here tho.
I'm rooting for my bracket, specifically my work pool bracket. I picked MTSU over Minnesota. So yes, I want Minnesota to lose.
Hawkeyes fans say Cyclones fans hate them more and are ass holes, Cyclones fans say Hawkeyes fans hate them more and are ass holes. The argument of who cares less, always a staple in this rivalry.
Ok, so when most metric has the BigTen #1 and Big12 #5, you don't think it is homerism to say the BigTen wasnt better. Got it, seems reasonable.
Theres isnt near the level of Hawkeye related discussion on any of those boards combined as there is here.
100% I think it's because both sides of the rivalry want to perpetuate the big brother little brother B.S. (Although I think Iowa fan's are almost wholly to blame for it in the first place.)
I'll agree that the Big 12 was 5th in football in most metrics, but I don't see many where the Big Ten is higher than 3-4.
Didin't read the article, and not arguing about Big12 vs Big10 in football. This is a basketball thread, and i was arguing that Big12 people have biases towards the big12 perception, just like big10 fans do, whether you see it that way or not, its the truth. When Big10 is worse than Big12 in basketball but have 2 teams in the final 4, B1G fans claim their conference is the almighty conference, just like how I saw some on here saying the Big12 conference was a better football conference because their record in bowl games this year. Neither I believe, and neither are true, but people proclaim it all the same.
Doesn't make sense to me, and makes it even more unbearable when there is 4 pages straight of a thread debating it
