Hey, I'm not bragging about Iowa State football in the Big 12 North. But still, it's more than what Iowa is doing in basketball. A FG away from playing in the conference championship is a little bit better than getting your ass kicked in the first round and playing in the NIT.
Anxiously awaiting Leistikow's appeal to the Big 10 to overturn MN.
I expected a decent run out of iowa with those match ups, but nothing says "We're not worthy" quite like being crushed by that Indiana team.

I don't know if there's another fanbase in the country that treats it's senior players like **** like Hawkeyes do. The only senior I can think of that they didn't kick on the way out was White.

I was more referring to players that actually accomplished something on the court. Unless you want to count airballing game ending three pointers as accomplishing something.
Iowa Hawkeyes will not win a ncaa tournament game the next 4 years. They don't have the clutch gene since Fran started coaching. Fran isn't made of winner's intangibles, just a psychotic Paul Rhoads. Jok is now gone and they don't have a guy they can count on to score late in games. I had a Hawk fan tell me Bohannon will average 30 points and 10 assists per game next year. He also said Baer is better than anybody on our team this year. Hawkeye fans are the most unbearable, brainwashed fans in all of sports. If they lose it's never their own fault, it's the refs fault, or today it was Jok's fault. Next year that team will struggle scoring 50 in the improved big ten. We'll beat them at Hilton even in a down year.

Iowa is not making the Tourney...that chance ended yesterday..They had to win minimum 2 games in BIG Tourney and maybe not even then. With the loss to Indianna..Make that the complete destruction by Indianna,..Iowa RPI will prob be 78ish..Zero chance.
Iowa has 2 wins vs RPI top 25....(2). Not a single win vs Top 10. Not to mention Iowa had a fairly weak conference schedule. Played Minn, Wisc, Indianna, Mich St...once.

Because our seed in the tournament we'll play in will be lower than your seed in the tournament you'll play in?
We look silly today but looking silly and understanding what it takes to get to the NCAA tournament due to many many years of making it to the tourney in a row doesn't have any correlation.
I just don't understand how iowa fans don't seem to understand how much Jok impacted the way they had to be defended.

Sitting out the bowl game is now a thing so sitting out totally meaningless basketball can't be far behind.
