This is what you get on this board. There is a silly issue with not being able to give Iowa credit for anything.

Baer only has good numbers because nobody guards him.

Iowa is only on the bubble because Maryland and Wisconsin did not show up against them and played their worst games of the year and not because Iowa did anything to cause that.

Michigan looked like poo against Iowa in football and it again had nothing to do with what Iowa did.

I consider myself very objective when it comes to Iowa/ISU debates, you all should try it.

Iowa fans would never, ever do that when it comes to Iowa State...

And ISU fans using high octane fast paced football to be the reason they're not very good (while Kansas State runs what looks like 3-4 methodical basic plays and wins).

*I'm not a B12 homer and ISU just needs better players and coaches with a plan.

Dude, we recruit for hustle and high five capabilities. Aren't those the two most important metrics when evaluating incoming talent????

I go by frosted locks, head band width and number of wrist/arm bands, but that's just me.

I was always under the impression that ISU fans believed this because their defensive players were not good or athletic enough to keep up with the fast paced offenses, not because the fast pace was too fast.

But back to basketball.
