Seemingly never ending Iowa MBB thread (still going.....)

I'm just saying if you lose to Penn State, you would have to win the BTT to get into the dance. There is pretty much no chance of that happening, especially on that side of the bracket, agree?
Obviously if Iowa loses to PSU they would have to win the BTT. They might have to do that anyway to get in. The chances would obviously be low to win the BTT. Obviously obvious there 1976.

Iowa plays Penn State, not Rutgers. They can't play Maryland. If they beat Penn State, they get the 7 seed and play the winner of OSU/Ind I think. If they won that they would play the winner of the Minnesota/Wisconsin game this weekend.

If Iowa loses to PSU, they get the 8 or 9 seed and would play Michy or Illinois I think. Then Purdue if they won.

What a murderer's row. No good scenarios in that meat grinder of a conference.

I think if you win this weekend and two in the BTT it could be interesting. I don't think that will happen because I don't think much of the team, but it's possible.

My bad, PSU not Rutgers.

The point I was trying to make, poorly perhaps... If Iowa loses to PSU, they're obviously out without winning the BG10 tourney. If they win vs. PSU, I believe they'd be the 7 seed and have to win their first game, then beat the 3 (likely Wisconsin), and maybe beat the 2 (Maryland).

We all know you don't think much of Iowa, you don't have to tell us that every three minutes.

Agreed. Wisky would be 2, Maryland 3.

You don't have to be here man. You seem very upset. Maybe you should take a break for awhile. I know being a fan of a bad team isn't fun sometimes (I've liked ISU football for years)

I'm not upset at all, you're just a broken record.

Not really the best comparison since Iowa basketball is over .500 and has been for most of the year. ISU football has won 3 games or less the past 4 seasons.

Students get free tickets to the basketball game on Sunday. Senior day and they have to give away free tickets...lol

That's certainly not good. Any program who has to give away free tickets is probably not in good shape. Certainly not any storms brewing in a program like that, that's for sure.

Because we had a bad coach that we were smart enough to get rid of. We are on the rise now. Whereas Iowa basketball is in year 7 of mediocrity and trending downward.
