Seemingly never ending Iowa MBB thread (still going.....)

I'm not taking anything away from Wieskamp. All I'm saying is that he needs to go out an prove that he's worthy of his ranking. Maybe he does that on the AAU circuit this summer. I don't know. What I am saying is that comparing him to Wigginton at this stage is premature. Come back in 11-12 months and try to make the argument that they're the "same".
Well how is he a top 41 recruit then? He obviously proved something, somewhere. The AAU team he plays on is one of the best in the country for his age group.

Who would he be competing with? Moss? Cmon man lol it's not even close

I agree, I think Jackson would be the 2nd best guard on Iowa. Hes better overall than Bohannon.

Moss is just a dumpster fire, there was a sequence last night where in 3 straight plays where he either lost the ball or ruined a fast break by pulling up and clanking it from 10 feet out instead of driving in.

So obvious I don't think you really need to say it.

Again, I'm not saying that he's a bad player. I do, however, expect him to drop in the rankings. It's incredibly common for that to happen.

Anyone want to guess who the player is?

Jackson is a better overall player than Ellingson, everybody knows this and its not even close. Ellingson is a smaller version of Oglesby, only difference is he can make wide open shots, Oglesby couldnt do anything.

If you're comparing a very good defender to a very poor defender by only looking at offensive stats you should probably sit this one out

Both role players this year. Jackson actually handles the ball some so he has more value. He also has a much larger upside when all the seniors are gone. Brady is playing on a bad team against bad competition. He's going to have similar numbers his entire career. Jackson is going to be really good next year.

Not sure what to make of this. I would have said Beilein, probably close Turgeon second

Lmao, not you too. So the guy has been to multiple Final Fours and he sucks? Without looking it up I bet Ohio State is in the TOP 3 with Izzo and Ryan in the last 15 years for Big Ten wins.
