Seemingly never ending Iowa MBB thread (still going.....)

Wieskamp is pretty damn good dude. Top 40 player in the country. If he was going to Iowa State you wouldn't be saying what you are saying about him.
So you might get 1 good player. But you still don't have a point guard. Just a bunch of dudes clogging up the lane and nonathletic guards

I was just pointing out a fact. He's not a top 40 recruit

So when you point out a fact like this it is allowed, but when I point out a fact that Fran has made it to three straight NCAA tourney's it doesn't count?

Fran has only made it to two straight tourney's, lost in the play in game and didn't earn a seed 3 years ago

I know Wisconsin fans are pretty mad about the robbery last night

Actually it appears Iowa got robbed on the Flagrant 1 that was called against Jok.

"When there is a foul called for contact, the officials, with a plausible reason, may review the severity of the foul during the dead ball period following the call. When the ball becomes live, there shall be no review of the made call."

So they should not have been able to review the play after Jok shot his first free throw.

This was on Facebook so if this isn't the actual definition of the rule then its not my fault.

That's not correct

The younger McCaffrey could end up being a top 50 recruit. Garza looks like a pretty good recruit and had some big time offers. McCaffrey and Nunge are wildcards, don't really know until they play at that level. I agree, a PG that could create more off the dribble would obviously make Iowa a lot better.

With that said, your eye for talent isn't very good at all. I would much rather trust recruiting sites than you when it comes to evaluating talent.

He's #124 right now.

Everyone would take him but we wouldn't be calling him a Top 40 kid because he's not top 40. He's been dropping like a rock he was up to 18 at one point.

20th or 50th he'll still end up being the highest recruit they have gotten in what the last 15? 20 years? Maybe Tyler Smith was higher? I dont really know honestly.

Weiskamp actually has the exact same composite ranking as Wiggington, I dont know how any ISU fan wouldnt want the kid.

I would definitely take Weiskamp. I like that WIGGINTON is putting up numbers against elite competition though.
